IMSA is an accredited K-12 school by AdvancED in June 2016. We provide Islamic education along with achievement of high academics to empower students to reach their fullest potential academically, technologically and individually to become better world citizens.
Iqra Math and Science Academy (IMSA) is committed to provide excellence in academia and character building in a protected environment. IMSA is devoted to giving students the true spirit of Islam by teaching Hifz-ul-Quran, Islamic Manners and basic Fiqh without compromising academic excellence. IMSA Academic Faculty is certified and highly experienced in teaching math, science and language arts.
IMSA is situated in a 14 acre Anniston Islamic Center’s facility in the heart of Anniston, surrounded by the lush green natural beauty of Alabama. The IMSA building consists of 12 large size, well equipped and decorated classrooms. The class rooms have wall sized windows with natural views, along with an efficient heating and cooling system. The facility has an adjacent 500 person capacity gym with indoor sports equipment, a 300-400 person capacity prayer hall and a dining area. The facility also has a brand new renovated dormitory for resident IMSA students, the Salam free clinic, a playground, basketball court, tennis court and a large parking lot.
