MISSION
Anniston Islamic Center will provide religious, social and educational services to Muslims in Anniston and surrounding communities. In addition to daily prayer services and the weekly Jumah salat (Friday congregational sermon and prayer), the Anniston Islamic Center shall operate various activities for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Goals :
| 1. | To provide religious services to the Muslim community in the State of Alabama in practicing the religion of Islam according to the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah (the traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). |
| 2. | To unite, represent and serve the interests of Muslims of Anniston, Alabama. |
| 3. | To propagate Islamic principles and teachings to both Muslims and non-Muslims. |
| 4. | Serve the best interests of Islam and Muslims by providing both spiritual and community services such as counseling, weddings, funerals, and other community projects. |
| 5. | To develop service institution(s) to serve Islam and Muslims in cooperation with other communities and organizations in this area. |
| 6. | To conduct religious, educational, social, cultural, and other activities in the best traditions of Islam. |
| 7. | To promote friendly relations between Muslims and non-Muslims and enhance awareness and understanding of Islam. |
